Annual Family Pictures

Ryan and I recently started a family tradition which we plan to carry on until we die. Its actually pretty fun. Every year around our anniversary we are going to get family portraits taken. Then we'll hang it on the wall for a year until the next anniversary comes along. When we take it down it will go in a scrapbook that is just for our annual family portraits.

So when looking at the book our children and grand children will be able to see how our family changed and grew every year and they'll laugh at the funny hairstyles and clothing I'm sure. Ry and I will also enjoy looking back on our family and remembering how it changed.

To make this financially feasible - we decided to take advantage of the Wal-Mart Portrait Studio and their great rates! $6.88 with no sitting fee, for all the pictures you see here on disk & a great packet of the one we are going to hang on the wall. So even though we felt a little silly waiting in line, seeing as how we were the only ones getting our pictures taken over the age of three - we still did it! Can't beat that price! Plus it was just fun to choose from an array of backgrounds - everything from the beach to a birthday party...
